The Flail, courtesy of Wildwood Contractors, has returned to the South Devon Railway.
We carry out this cutting back annually to maintain the open views for our visitors and keep branches a safe distance from the train. There are also huge benefits to wildlife as the cleared ground encourages next years’ wildflowers and other native plants to grow.
