We are absolutely chuffed to announce that we start running trains again on 17th May. Tickets will be available online from Monday 12th April. We can’t wait to welcome you back!
In the meantime, our site at Buckfastleigh will be open every day from 12th to 18th April 2021, then every Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 4pm from April 19th.
Whilst we are waiting for our trains to run, you will find plenty to see and learn about at Buckfastleigh station. We have a number of our steam and diesel locomotives, carriages and wagons on display, including the Lee Moor Tramway Peckett locomotive. The gardens are open, there’s a children’s playground and garden railway. You can visit the workshop viewing gallery as well as our gift and model shop. The walking route is clearly marked and designed for social distancing.
Come and have a walk around the station and get up close to our exhibits. Entry is free of charge, but we do ask for a donation (suggested £5 per person).
