Ticket to Ride - Buckstock

It’s the 1960s; cultural reform is all around us, at the centre of this is a revolution in music. Over the air waves, the Rock and Roll so typical of the 1950s is giving way to exciting new sounds, genres and artists. To keep you up to date with the cutting-edge trends we are hosting a mini music festival with live performances of the latest sounds that popular music has to offer.

Ash Denver

Ash discovered his love of singing and performance while studying drama at university in Leicester, being involved in theatre productions where the arts are well supported gave him the encouragement to take this path as a career.
Under the guidance of Alan Greenwood, Ash took his first job 9 years ago, with a show team at a holiday park in Devon and spent some years entertaining holiday makers, at several holiday parks in the South West. Two years ago he had a very enjoyable season with Thomsons, performing to guests at their hotels in Europe and on returning home, made the decision to work on a solo career back in UK.
Ash has since gone on to refine his own cabaret with songs from 50’s to present day and added a 60’s and 70’s show, performing at holiday resorts, hotels and venues around Britain. He join the cast of David Hamilton’s Rock and Roll Back the Years theatre show, as their lead male vocalist which visited 40 theatres nation wide during 2016 and has more dates booked for 2017. This is Ash’s true passion, being involved with a live show and the chance to work with other musicians is the perfect performance opportunity for a vocalist.
With a range of material spanning the decades and over 200 songs from 50’s to present day, Ash’s solo act and 60’s and 70’s show is a winner with all ages, offering something for everyone. Strong, dynamic, high energy vocals, the ability to create a fun atmosphere with exceptional talent and professionalism, is a recipe for a successful night at any venue.

Crammed into every single one of their shows, you’ll witness to their oh-so-tight harmonies, infectious stage presence & questionable, but highly entertaining dance moves. Jamie’s vocals enrapture every audience from the off, using his charm to encourage audience participation throughout. James Burrell as Elvis

James is an acclaimed English Elvis tribute artist, based in Devon in the U.K. He was one of the top three Elvis acts at the Porthcawl Elvis Tribute competition in 2016, and was a finalist in the European Elvis Tribute Championships 2017. Although James has been a variety singer for many years, he has been a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley. When performing his tribute act, James tries to convey Elvis’s charisma and sense of playfulness on stage, which he combines with his own personality. James captures Elvis’s sound and adopts his mannerisms and stage actions, but you won’t find him doing any typically clichéd things; for example, he won’t wear sunglasses on stage because Elvis never did, nor will he talk like Elvis between songs, instead choosing to simply use his own voice.
